Thus, many complaints have been closed, with the customer receiving a satisfactory resolution. Most books on AbeBooks are legit, but again, you must verify that the seller is legitimate. Abebooks simply facilitates transactions between people-who-need-books and people-who-have-books, they don't stock anything themselves. Most of the purchases I have made their have been for textbooks, because you can get the "International" version which may cost as little as $20 compared to $100+, and it is the same damn book.
