  6. Nov 24, 2022 · SaltWire Network, the media company that owns the Chronicle Herald, will switch some rural subscribers to digital-only subscriptions starting Nov. 28. The print edition will no longer be distributed to subscribers in some parts of rural Nova Scotia due to declining demand and rising costs. The letter to customers did not mention any other SaltWire-owned papers in Atlantic Canada.
