    To register for a library card, bring identification with your name and address to any library location. Check the list of identification requirementsbefore going into a branch.

    Library cards, including non-resident and Digital Access Cards, expire annually. Renew your library card in branch or online in Your Account.

    If your card has been lost or stolen, immediately contact your local branchby phone or in person.

    Borrowing materials

    Borrow and place holds on physical and digital materials in branch and online. Self-manage your account online, or come into a branchnear you for assistance.

    Most materials can be returned to any library branch. However, some items must be returned to the branch from which you borrowed them: 1. Book club sets 2. Interlibrary loans 3. Toronto Reference Library picture collections 4. Musical instruments

    Renew materials online, by calling or going into a branch, or by calling the renewal line.

    Access free Wi-Fi at any branch using a personal device.

    Reserve a public computer workstation at any library branch for 120 minutes per day.

    Use a printing station at any library branch to print files. Photocopying is not available.
